Ping Anser Forged Irons Worthy of Having a Try

The Ping Anser Forged Irons represents the very best of Ping’s commitment to design and technology, which does mark a break from Ping’s more normal tradition of producing cast irons. The traditional forged irons are one-piece construction while these new irons are two-piece construction which helps move face weight and increase MOI for higher forgiveness. The center of gravity is back moved for higher hitting trajectory. Compared with traditional forged irons, these Ping Anser Forged Irons have some advantages.

The forged, multi-metal design, of the Ping Anser Forged Irons combines an 8620 steel body, dense tungsten sole and machined grooves for unequaled forged-iron feel and forgiveness. Its hollow-sole cavity enhances the Anser’s soft feel and pushes the CG low and back for higher-launching iron shots. The forged steel body features a dense tungsten weight and a hollow sole. This combination is designed to provide added forgiveness, but with a forged feel.

The Ping Anser Forged heads also get progressively smaller through to the short irons, to offer more control in the scoring clubs. Ping has noted that the Anser Forged Iron uses progressive offset going from more to less as the irons get shorter. This creates more ease of use in the long irons, allowing the player to square the club face easier. The offset shrinks as the irons get shorter to focus on control and touch.

Stabilisation bars in the back of the Ping Anser Forged long irons help lower the centre of gravity and launch the ball on a higher flight. These bars get increasingly vertical and thicker to help produce a more penetrating flight with high spin.

The four cavities are the toe cavity, heel cavity, CTP (custom tuning port) cavity and the hallow-sole cavity. Cheap golf club sets dual cavities milled into the back of Ping Anser Forged iron offer forgiveness and exceptional playability while the tungsten insert in the sole offers excellent ball flight and an incredibly stable and soft feeling hitting experience. The minimal offset and thin top line will please better players but the all round playability make the Ping Anser Forged a club to be cherished by all golfers.

Ping Anser Forged Irons Main Features:

1. Looks: The looks of the new 2011 irons are striking. The size of the heads is on the larger side, the face is milled flat, the grooves are cut, and the four cavities are milled into the back of the iron.

2. Performance/playability: Features are a bunch of very technical advanced engineering design enhancements. Removing metal post forging via CNC machining allowed Ping to add more moment of inertia(MOI) in 2 directions. They added a dual cavity and covered the lower on with a high tech tungsten nickel sole.

3. Feel: Same setup and there were mild differences in trajectory. The feel was different between the two.

Big Discount! Callaway FT Irons 1354

While they may turn people away by their looks, the performance could easily win you over Very interested in trying the new shaft I know Ive been fascinated reading about the G20 driver, but these were not really on my radar before this Combined with PINGs new CFS steel shaft, the G20 optimizes feel and trajectories Weight saved by thinning the face allowed Ping engineers to redistribute weight to the perimeter and the back flange, which positions the CG low and back to launch the ball higher and longer The hosel-to-head transition and clean appearance of the G20’s inspire confidence at address that the ball will launch clean and easy from any lie on the course I purchased a set of Ping G20s after demo day because I liked the ball flight The shafts and distance control have me intrigued too I am a big fan of the Ping G line, and am excited to give these a try From the first swing you take with the G20 irons, you get a different audible impact sound, which translates to a softer and smoother feel through the hands Just like JB describes, high (Not ballooning) straight shots time after time Are you looking for an iron to launch high and straight? Few will compare to the forgiveness that the Ping irons are offering here and more importantly they do so without any sacrifices in terms of balance The topline and sole were a little thicker than I expected, but I think I could easily get used to it with the results The distance control thought is interesting, as the Burner 2s are known to have some rockets that come from no where Consistent, precise distance control was achieved by using a thin face backed by a floating CTP structure I am gaming R9s with KBS 90 Stiff shafts, and they perform nicely too Nice review! These sound like real quality irons! High and straight? Who wouldnt want that? Thanks for the review Josh, I am really eager to try out the rest of this G20 line because it all sounds so great! Im looking forward to hitting these! I thought the G15 wasnt bad in terms of sound/feel and it sounds like the G20s have improved on that aspect Ping has come forth and improved upon the extremely popular G15 irons in a big way If and high straight is what you are after, the Ping G20 irons deliver in a big way

Why Ping G15 Driver Is Better Than K15 Driver?

Distance and Accuracy Driver- Ping G15 Driver with graphite, 460cc titanium head, ultra thin crown technology, Weight savings, Ping G15 Driver is designed to increase ball speed and provide consistency across the entire hitting surface.

Ping G15 Driver very good shape, face shows ball marks, sole shows wear from play, crown shows minor wear up close, looks good at address though. Among all the Ping drivers, the Ping G-15 driver is the most attractive one. It is triangular in shape and its crown is black whereas sole is silver, red and black in color. The two shafts are in coordinating shades of gray and red.

This PING G15 Driver has been played in an appropriate fashion. It has a massive overall club head size, which will give it a large amount of MOI. And it has a long deep body that should prove to be extremely forgiving, while still producing a lot of distance off the tee.

Far from resting on their laurels Ping have managed to improve the new G15 driver with some excellent new developments. As big fans of the G10 version we couldn’t wait to see the Ping G15 driver on the range to see if the changes had had the desired affect and we weren’t disappointed.

Ping has put a touch of sophistication on the club head which provides a very smart touch to the entire club.

The K15 offers a titanium club head which provides a maximum amount of forgiveness. The club is designed for an overall improvement in your game which will include high trajectory and a low to medium spin on each hit.

Choosing the right club can be a challenge and this is why having a fitting makes perfect sense.

Combination of Distance & Forgiveness — Mizuno MX-1000

The Mizuno MX-1000 are just one of eight different sets of irons in Mizuno’s 2009/2010 launches. While the MP range sits firmly at the ‘better player’ end of the market, with its forged blades and musclebacks, the MX range – including the MX-1000s – will appeal to the improver golfer looking for forgiveness, high launch and added distance.

Mizuno’s goal in the creation of the new Mizuno MX 1000 Irons Set was to deliver the most friendly game-improvement with no limit on cutting edge technology. The Mizuno MX-1000 Irons are a breakthrough hybrid designed set, with the unique ability to be custom built to your individual specifications. With its wide sole, thick top edge and large clubface the Mizuno mx 1000 irons proved exceptionally forgiving. Despite saying ‘Hot Metal’ on the rear, the contact was softer, and more subtle than expected. Could be ideal for those comfortable with supersized club-heads.

HOT METAL face is teamed with a hollow construction and internal weighting, encouraging strikes form a wide area if the face to hold their line with minimal distances loss. The former also allows weight to be engineered deep with the head of a naturally high trajectory that enable the use of stronger lofts for even greater distance. In addition, the aggressively beveled lead and trailing edges effectively narrow the Mizuno mx 1000‘s substantial soleplate, for clean turf interaction and use from a variety of lies. With its wide sole, thick top edge and large clubface the Mizuno MX-1000 proved exceptionally forgiving. Despite saying ‘Hot Metal’ on the rear, the contact was softer, and more subtle than expected. Could be ideal for those comfortable with supersized club-heads.

Moreover, Hollow Technology construction with internal extreme MOI weighting creates a super low and deep COG, which delivers an easy, high and straight ball flight. The mx 1000 with Hot Metal technology is the longest and straightest iron we have ever developed, and it is sure to take your game to a whole new level.Without drifting too far off-subject, pushing the COR limit is great but as a game improvement iron, another equally important three letter acronym is MOI, which the MX-1000 has plenty of.

Big distance gains are achieved by plasma wielding the thin, hot maraging steel face to a stainless steel hollow body. It allows weight to be placed deep within the head to deliver a naturally high trajectory and enables the use of stronger lofts for even greater distance.

Callaway Diablo Edge Hybrid for Greatest Golf Lovers

The new Diablo Edge Hybrids have been specifically designed to provide golfers with a more forgiving, distance enhancing alternative to long irons. And with standard and Tour models, there are options for all player types.

The Callaway Diablo Edge Hybrid uses Vertical CG Optimization to achieve the highest MOI of any Callaway steel hybrid that they’ve ever produced. By thinning the crown by 30%, Callaway has lowered the CG (center of gravity) to a position that most amateurs will benefit from; lower on the club face. This is especially important when the ball is on a tight-lie surface like the fairway. There is nothing worse than hitting a really nice drive that settles on the short grass, and then proceeding to blade your approach or layup shot because you just didn’t have the confidence (or right equipment) to go down after the shot aggressively.

Callaway uses their Variable Face Thickness (VFT) Technology to ensure that all areas of the face are optimized. Now I’m not going to tell you that this guarantees great results from poor hits, but I am going to say that the consequences of miss-hits are minimized.

Main Features:
Vertical CG Optimization
The club design includes a thinner crown to allow for a lower center of gravity (CG), putting it in-line with where most amateurs strike the ball on the clubface. The result is high, strong trajectories so the ball flies farther and lands softer. Cheap Golf Club Sets
Unique Sole Design
The unique sole design offers better versatility and playability by creating efficient impact with the face to maximize distance, consistency and accuracy from a variety of turf conditions.
Offset Hosel
Designed to provide a look that boosts confidence at address and provides greater workability, the offset hosel assists in squaring the clubface at impact. The Tour model has less offset to enhance workability.
VFT Technology
With Callaway’s VFT Technology, the club creates higher ball speeds across the entire face, meaning hotter distance with more consistency. The face is thicker in the center and ultra-thin around the edges, which allows more energy from the impact of the clubface to be transferred to the ball.

In addition, the sole design in these clubs is unique. This maximizes your distance and accuracy because of the efficient impact it promotes. Callaway has packed a lot of useful technology into a great looking club that you will enjoy hitting out on the course. The Diablo Edge Hybrid has an offset hosel that makes squaring the face at impact much easier than it would be with a traditional design hybrid.

Most Forgiving Callaway FT-iZ Hybrid Review

The Callaway FT-iZ Hybrid was originally made to be an alternative to the longer iron for many golfers and now it has become a standard in many golf bags from touring professional to weekend warriors.

This line hybrid is larger than past Callaway hybrids making it even more forgiving and they have also added the VFT technology for increased ball speed off the face of the club. The last major thing Callaway has done is given this hybrid an offset hosel to help promote confidence at address and assist with squaring the club face at impact.

These Hybrids feature the advanced fusion technology that makes them much more forgiving then past Callaway hybrids. Discount Golf Clubs for Sale They are built for distance, accuracy, and versatility. The fusion technology combines a stainless steel body with a metal injection molded sole. This helps to maximize the perimeter weighting for a higher moment of inertia.

VFT Technology generates high ball speeds across the face for hot distance and greater consistency. The offset hosel helps square the clubface at impact and sets up at address with a look that inspires total confidence.

The center of gravity is also optimized and moved lower to help the golfer get a higher trajectory shot that will fly further and land softer.

The Top Features:
Fusion Technology for higher trajectories and softer landings
Larger club head for a higher MOI and more forgiveness
VFT Technology for more ball speed and longer carry distances
Offset hosel to aid the average golfer with squaring the club face at impact
Available in a 21, 24, and 27 degree loft
Made with a Callaway Golf FT-iZ hybrid graphite shaft

Callaway FT-iZ Hybrid from http://golfdiscount4sale.com

This offset hybrid is perfect for helping the average golfer to square up the club face with the ball. This feature will lead to better accuracy, ball compression and overall distance from nearly any lie. This hybrid provides golfers with all the distance, accuracy and versatility they could ever want from a hybrid.

These hybrids are not built the same as others and the lofts are a little weaker than a hybrid a golfer might look to use to replace a 5 wood or a 3 iron. However, for those golfers that struggle with the longer irons and would love to drop their 4 iron and 5 iron, these hybrids are a good choice.
